Planning and Design
Site planning could involve the evaluation of several alternative sites as well as evaluate and establish a set of program elements specific to the site. Site planning components include pedestrian circulation, parking, accessibility requirements, recreation facilities, service areas, and building functionality. Each site element within the site must relate to all the other elements. Some uses must relate closely and some must be separated. To create the relationship of uses, all elements must be defined and priorities given to each. Working within budget and physical constraints of the land and surrounding land uses, the landscape architect is a key element in finding the best solution for the Owner.
